Exoseal® VCD – a sterile device consisting of a polyglycolic acid plug combined with a delivery system. The plug is placed inside the shaft of the delivery system. Inside the shaft there is an indicator guidewire that positions the device at the puncture site relative to the vessel wall. After positioning the plug, the shaft is removed, securing the plug over the arteriotomy site.
