Powerline™ Catheter manufactured by Biosensors is a rapid exchange catheter designed for percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty during the pre-dilation stage. Design Features:
Main element — catheter shaft with a semi-compliant balloon
Two lumens in the shaft:
First — for balloon inflation and deflation
Second — opens approximately 20 cm proximal to the balloon for advancing the coronary guidewire

Nominal balloon inflation pressure: 6 atmospheres
Radiopaque markers at both ends of the balloon (distal and proximal) for accurate positioning
Two additional markers at 90 and 100 cm from the distal tip

Has the property of diameter increase with increasing pressure
A Luer connector is installed at the proximal end for connection to the inflation device
